News Summary: For the third time, PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) presented Ramadhan Bazaar (affordable market) in Pasuruan Regency, East Java. This event is organized regularly every Ramadan month, and this time Pertagas teamed up with GP Anshor (an Islamic youth organization) from Pasuruan.
(Pasuruan,17/6) – For the third time, PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) presented Ramadhan Bazaar (affordable market) in Pasuruan Regency, East Java. This event is organized regularly every Ramadan month, and this time Pertagas teamed up with GP Anshor (an Islamic youth organization) from Pasuruan. Just like the two previous event, the Bazaar took place at Nahdlatul Ulama Branch Office’s (PC NU), Pohjentrek, Pasuruan Regency.
According to Hatim Ilwan, PR & CSR Manager of PT Pertamina Gas, this activity is a form of attention from Pertagas to the people around the operation area who have been very supportive to various corporate activities. "And these packages of affordable food are only intended for pre-prosperous communities in Pasuruan," he said. The amount of aid given amounting to Rp 100 million in total, in the form of 1,000 packages of basic commodities each worth Rp 100,000 but sold with the price of Rp 20,000.
The total of 20 million rupiahs profit of this bazaar, according to M. Farid Syauqi, the Chairman of GP Ansor Pasuruan Regency, is donated to Ponpes Metal (Islamic Boarding Shool for Reciting and Memorising Quran) which houses more than 100 orphans in Rejoso Lor Village, Pasuruan Regency. “On behalf of Pasuruan Regency we’d like to express our gratitude to Pertagas for the good cooperation all this time,” said Farid.
On the same occasion, the Executive Chairman of PC NU Pasuruan Regency, KH Imron Mumtamkkin expressed his appreciation to Pertagas and all the good work that has been done. “We hope this assistance continues, and if possible the amount of the packages increases because this aid is really needed by underprivileged communities in Pasuruan Regency,” said Imron in his speech.

The Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Ignasius Jonan specially inspected the urban gas network construction in Mojokerto Regency, East Java, on Sunday (11/08).
